• Most problems in Examplify can be solved by hard-restarting your computer.
  • The most common technical problem is virus protection software that interferes with ExamSoft. Learn how to disable your antivirus software, do so before each exam, and remember to re-enable it after you’ve uploaded.
  • If you’re having problems, don’t panic—alert a proctor. You will never be penalized for technical issues, as long as you’ve done your part.
  • Examplify auto-saves your exam every 60 seconds and every time you answer a question. It will not lose your information.

If you are locked out of Examplify, cannot start it, or cannot enter your exam, do not exit Examplify,  just hard restart. You will start where you left off in your exam, with the amount of time you had when the program froze.

  • A proctor will escort you to the Testing Center to get assistance if normal trouble-shooting doesn’t solve your problem.
  • In the event that it takes more than 10 minutes to resolve your technical issues and start your exam, we may give the exam to you in a separate room or arrange for a make-up (only in extreme cases).
